SECOND LADY TO STORM TAMALE AS THE SPECIAL GUEST OF HONOUR AT THE NPP NATIONAL YOUTH CONFERENCE

The National Youth Wing of the New Patriotic Party, will on Friday,  December 6, 2019 hold the National Youth Conference in the Northern Regional Capital of Tamale.  In climaxing the Youth Wing's activities for the year, the conference will attract all of the NPP's Youth leaders and activists. They will be joined by many of the party's big shots to brainstorm ideas as we  mount a spirited campaign to retain power in 2020.

The youthful, elegant and eloquent Second Lady of the Republic of Ghana, H. E  Mrs. Samira Bawumia is the Special Guest of Honour for the Youth Conference. The Second Lady, the youngest in the fourth Republic has since bursting on the  scene, carved a niche in delivering powerful and excellent speeches. She is expected to stoke the spirit of volunteerism, diligence, dedication and bravery among the youth as the party prepares for the 2020 general elections.
The conference will come off at the Multi Purpose Hall of the  University of Development Studies (UDS) at 9 am.  The National Youth leader of the NPP,  Henry Nana Boakye is seeking to rally the youth to lead the party's campaign in 2020 and the Youth Conference will be the final preparation ahead of the big task in 2020.

The conference is being held under the theme “One Good Term Deserves Another” and  will host Ministers and Deputy Ministers who are youth; Regional Youth Organizers and their Deputies; CEOs, DCEOs and other Government appointees, MMDCES, Constituency Youth Organizers & their Deputies, TESCON delegations from all accredited institutions; and  delegations from the  diaspora youth wing.

Ejura killings: We’ll be open-minded in our report and recommendations – Justice Koomson

  After 12 days of public sitting, the three-member committee that investigated the Ejura disturbances has wrapped up its work. The committee set up by the president follows the killing of two people and the injuring of four others by soldiers during a protest against the killing of a social activist, Ibrahim Muhammed. The deceased, also known as Macho Kaaka, died on Monday, June 28, 2021, after he was attacked by a mob while returning home on his motorbike at Ejura. Missing Tarkwa chief ‘found’

  Gyaasehene of the Apinto Divisional Council G yaasehene of the Apinto Divisional Council, Dr. Nana Adarkwa Bediako III The Gyaasehene of the Apinto Divisional Council, Dr. Nana Adarkwa Bediako III, who was reported missing earlier on Thursday, has returned home. He is said to have been found on the Tarkwa-Takoradi road and brought home. Details of his ordeal are sketchy but Apinto’s Chief Linguist Nana Kobina Obo II promised to get more details as the Gyaasehene was narrating the circumstances that led to his missing to the palace while he was called for TV3‘s interview. Dr. Nana Adarkwa Bediako III was feared kidnapped as a relative whose name has been given as Kakra threatened to kill him a few days ago.
