SECOND LADY TO STORM TAMALE AS THE SPECIAL GUEST OF HONOUR AT THE NPP NATIONAL YOUTH CONFERENCE

The National Youth Wing of the New Patriotic Party, will on Friday,  December 6, 2019 hold the National Youth Conference in the Northern Regional Capital of Tamale.  In climaxing the Youth Wing's activities for the year, the conference will attract all of the NPP's Youth leaders and activists. They will be joined by many of the party's big shots to brainstorm ideas as we  mount a spirited campaign to retain power in 2020.

The youthful, elegant and eloquent Second Lady of the Republic of Ghana, H. E  Mrs. Samira Bawumia is the Special Guest of Honour for the Youth Conference. The Second Lady, the youngest in the fourth Republic has since bursting on the  scene, carved a niche in delivering powerful and excellent speeches. She is expected to stoke the spirit of volunteerism, diligence, dedication and bravery among the youth as the party prepares for the 2020 general elections.
The conference will come off at the Multi Purpose Hall of the  University of Development Studies (UDS) at 9 am.  The National Youth leader of the NPP,  Henry Nana Boakye is seeking to rally the youth to lead the party's campaign in 2020 and the Youth Conference will be the final preparation ahead of the big task in 2020.

The conference is being held under the theme “One Good Term Deserves Another” and  will host Ministers and Deputy Ministers who are youth; Regional Youth Organizers and their Deputies; CEOs, DCEOs and other Government appointees, MMDCES, Constituency Youth Organizers & their Deputies, TESCON delegations from all accredited institutions; and  delegations from the  diaspora youth wing.

COVID-19:FY 2020 supports Institutions and youth in Atwima Nwabiagya North

As part of social intervention measures to minimize the risk of Coronavirus(COVID-19), the aspiring Member of Parliament for Atwima Nwabiagya North Mr Frank Yeboah(FY 2020), has presented some items to institutions within the constituency. They are Barekese Market, Dabaa Hospital, Adankwame police, Wurapon Community Health Center, Abira Health Center, Adankwame youth, Asuofua Market, Atwima Koforidua Market, Koforidua youth, Barekese fufuo, Mount Sinai Hospital Koforidua, Akropong Police station, Akropong Health Center, Asuofua Health Center, Asuofua Police station, Barekese police station and Barkese Health Center. UniBank case referred to arbitration

The court however says the unibank case is not frivolous An Accra High Court has referred part of the case between the shareholders and the Receiver of uniBank for arbitration. The appointment of an arbitrator by the judge, Justice Jennifer Abena Dadzie, follows an application by the Receiver of the bank, Nii Amanor Dodoo, to dismiss the counterclaim of some of the shareholders of the bank to those he filed. However the court said unibank case is not frivolous. The Receiver, in his application, prayed the court to strike out the amended statement of defence and counterclaim of three of the shareholders. He said the pleadings by the defendants are an abuse of the court’s processes and attempt to delay the fair resolution of the dispute, which is “very simple as it involves recovery of sums of money which have been allegedly taken out of the accounts of uniBank, which is now in receivership.” The Receiver of defunct uniBank sued the founder of the bank, Dr Kwabena Duffuor and 16 othe
