Calamity!! : Shut down LGBTQI Office in Accra-Rev Kusi to Govt


 The Founder and Leader of Life Of Christ Power Ministry International at Ejisu-Manhyia, Reverend Emmanuel Kwadwo Kusi has called on the President, Akufo-Addo to shut down a new Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual Transgender and Queer Intersex (LGBTQI) office in Accra.

His comments follows the participation of the European Union (EU) in the opening of a new office space for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual Transgender and Queer Intersex (LGBTQI) reiterating its supports for similar organizations in the country.

On February 18, 2021, Mr Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, the minister designate for Information and also Member of Parliament for Ofoase Ayirebi was responding to questions when he took his turn before Parliament's Appointments Committee for vetting, he said that, given the current advocacy around the legalization of homosexuality in the country, the country needs to consider passing a law that tackles its promotion because the practice in itself is culturally unacceptable and goes contrary to section 104 of the Criminal Code, 1960.

According to Mr. Oppong Nkrumah, customary law frowns on LGBT activities.

But in an interview with odinews85.blogspot.com, the man of God reiterated  the need for government to shut down the office before it get out of hands.

He therefore appealed to the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to come out and give updates  about the decision to shut down the office, to Ghanaians.

According to him, Ghanaians are curiously looking up on the government to give out it takes on that.

Thomas Barrack: Top Trump aide accused of working as foreign agent

  Billionaire and long-time Donald Trump ally Thomas J Barrack have been arrested in Los Angeles for allegedly acting as an agent of a foreign government. Two staff at Office of Special Prosecutor investigated for stealing fuel

Martin Amidu, Speacial Prosecutor Two employees of the Office of the Special Prosecutor have been indicted for allegedly stealing fuel. Accountant, Peter Owusu Afriyie and Secretary to the Special Prosecutor’s office, Joseph Dasanah, drew almost ¢10,000 worth of fuel monthly even though they are not entitled to it, JoyNews has sighted a memo. A memo from the then acting Head of Investigations, Julius Zodanu, to the Special Prosecutor, detailed how Joseph Dasanah –Amidu’s secretary, and an accountant, both signed for fuel coupons even though, as unconfirmed staff on secondment, neither of them was entitled to it. The memos showed further discrepancies with Joseph Dasanah’s fuel claims, JoyNews Kojo Yankson has found out. The secretary allegedly stole some 5,300 cedis worth of claims.
