According to ACEP, based on the facts available, the current power situation is symptomatic of what transpired before the country was plunged into the dreaded dumsor era under the Mahama government. Ken Ofori Atta is Finance Minister Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta has bemoaned that the President Akufo-Addo’s administration has been facing tough times healing the Ghanaian economy which he said was broken under former President Mahama’s government. The bill is meant to operationalise Article 21 (1) (f) of the Constitution which states that “All persons shall have the right to information subject to such qualifications and laws as are necessary in a democratic society.” It was first drafted in 1999 under the auspices of the Institute of Economic Affairs. Security forces separating violent conflict between Chokosis and konkombas in Chereponi in the North East region have captured a 26 year old hardened member of a notorious Togolese mercenary gang allegedly hired into the porous district to assist in the renewed land related clashes among the two long-standing indigenous neighbours.
