Pius Enam Hadzide Is Giving The NDC Sleepless Nights - NPP Communicator

Dep Information Minister
Communications member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Benjamin Akowuah Acheampong has described it as funny, how the NDC at every given opportunity wants to call for the head of the Hon. Pius Enam Hadzide since he assumed office as Deputy Minister of Information.

According to the Diplomacy and International Relations expert, the Deputy Minister of Information has been a torn in the flesh of the NDC with his fantastic communication prowess. I have watched several media encounters between Hon Pius and the NDC's star boy Sammy Gyamfi and in most cases Sammy has left the Studio badly bruised by Hon Pius.

In some instances, Sammy resorted to personal attacks and unfounded allegations of corruption against Hon. Pius but he remains unperturbed, Mr Akowuah wrote on his Facebook wall.

HON. PIUS ENAM HADZIDE IS OBVIOUSLY GIVING THE NDC SLEEPLESS NIGHTS.

It's funny how the NDC at every given opportunity wants to call for the head of the Hon. Pius Enam Hadzide since he assumed office as Deputy Minister of Information.

We know he has been a torn in the flesh of the NDC with his fantastic communication prowess.

Pius but he remains unperturbed.

I recall a recent response by Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah on the politicization of the COVID-19 pandemic where he saids; "Our opponents have been playing politics with the COVID-19 fight from day one but government and NPP communicators have kept our cool, as soon as we decided to the respond to the political comments been made by NDC now everyone is saying we are politicizing the COVID-19 fight".

The NDC should better brace themselves because we will respond to them in equal measure for any baseless and unfounded propaganda they make.

I fully support the boldness with which Hon. Pius Hadzide called out Johnny Hughes for his bias and unprofessional conduct on TV3 morning show today. Same would apply to Randy Abbey of Metro TV's Good Morning Ghana and the likes.

I hear some NDC apparatchiks calling for the head of Hon. Pius and touting it as an attack on media freedom. When did expressing your opinion on how a media person conducts himself become an attack on media freedom?

What did those people say to Sammy Gyamfi wrote to run down Chairman General Kwame Sefa Kayi and the whole production crew of Peace FM's Kokrokoo Shows when he described them as "Dictatorial" and "Poodles" respectively.

Until some media persons learn to give a level playing field to communicators on their show, we will also not stop calling them out.

This is an election year and we will not take kindly to any bias and unprofessional media conduct.

To my NDC friends, let me point it to you that, we do not expect you to like him. He is one of the proud Ewes who has seen the light and refused to join the incompetent NDC.

We would rather have advised ourselves if you were praising him. He remains our Deputy Information Minister for Good.

The town is also known for growing of ‘wee’ on a large scale The Chief of Muramura in the Kwahu South District, Nana Gyaakye Amo II, says residents of his town especially the youth are free to smoke marijuana (wee) as much as they want. According to the 83-year-old chief, he’s powerless to deal with the menace and once the youth will not come to smoke the banned substance in his house he cares less and is minding his own business. Nana Gyaakye Amo II, made the shocking comments in an interview with Kasapa News on the back of the unfortunate incident in his town where angry residents on Sunday lynched and set fire into the body of a 29-year-old known ‘wee’ smoker Kofi Sammy for killing a 28-year-old pregnant Woman Alimatu Karim and cooking parts of her mutilated body for food. Stop running commentary on our investigations - A-G warns EOCO

Attorney-General, Gloria Akuffo Ms Gloria Afua Akuffo, the Attorney-General has asked the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) to open itself to the public but to avoid running commentary on its investigations. According to her speaking in public about their investigations could only frustrates their efforts as well as give out too much information to criminals to change their mode of operations. “Criminals are always waiting to cover their tracks and therefore coming out to speak constantly about a matter, makes it easier for them to cover up and therefore frustrating the outcome of the investigations,” she stressed. She advised that the statutory body should avoid following rumours and suspicions so as not to not embarrass themselves. Ms Akuffo said this at EOCO’s maiden national stakeholders’ forum in Accra aimed at interacting with stakeholders and share information on cases investigated, prosecutions and convictions obtained as well as recoveries and confiscations made. ...
